The biggest challenge we faced with this project was the short design and build time, which made it a challenge to procure the specified Swedish designer lighting. The longest lead item was a Zero Shibuya pendant and the Zero Clark wall lights. With an estimated delivery time of 6-7 weeks – this lighting is a made-to-order item, and has to be specially built for this project.

We installed a new Cat6 UTP/FTP data network that offered multiple separate networks to certain desk spaces depending on the engineer’s status within the business. We worked closely with the client’s internal IT department to deliver a CAT6 FTP network to distribute all of the business’ media to each wall-mounted monitor/TV. Creating instant access to the latest information for individuals and teams.

Location: OneSubsea, Leeds.
Project Lead Time: A total of 35 weeks split into three phases.
We designed and installed a new segregated steel cable containment system to the latest electrical standards which accommodated sub-mains cabling, LV power, fire alarm cabling, data cabling and PA cabling. By the end of the third phase we had used a total of 550 metres of steel wire cable basket within the ceiling voids.

Location: IBM Offices, Bristol.
Project Lead Time: 8 Weeks.
We installed a new suspended DALI LED linear lighting system to a newly created exposed ceiling area to create the perfect setting for team meetings, one-to-ones or for the wow factor at the main entrance. Ambience was achieved with the Whitecroft wireless wall plate switching, which allows the drop-down projector screen to be visible from all areas of the presentation area.
Client: British Heart Foundation.
Location: BHF Offices, Leeds.
Project Lead Time: 6 weeks.
We were recommended by one of our existing customers to the British Heart Foundation as a business that could offer a turn-key solution. We arranged a bespoke consultation with the BHF team to discuss their requirements. From the fact-finding, we were tasked with the design and installation of a new futureproof Cat6A network infrastructure to include desktop computers, machinery, security and wireless access points throughout.
